Rejected Collection features the proposals of Chinese artists which were rejected since the early 1980s. The author, Biljana Ciric, has started working on the book since she curated the exhibition Rejected Exhibition, which was held in September, 2007.

The author has made further exploration into the relationship among institute, the market and the experimental triangle. In addition, the process of the development of contemporary China as well as contemporary Chinese art also unfolds through the book.

The launching ceremony will take place at two venues respectively:
