“What Can We Leave Behind When We Depart Beijing”
Established in 2009, the ArtMia Foundation is a nonprofit institution dedicated to the initiation, support, presentation and promotion of contemporary art projects. After organizing “Narcissus looks for Echo — a Zeng Fanzhi Exhibition” and the “Boao Asia Contemporary Art Exhibition”, Artmia will cooperate with the Love & Hope Center and launch a silent auction for charity, themed “What Can We Leave Behind When We Depart Beijing.
The artworks up for auction are to be donated by more than 30 professional artists and some contributors from the PTA of ISB (International School of Beijing). These artists include the famous Ai Weiwei, among others. The Art Salon will feature well-known artist Zeng Fanzhi, and will review his solo exhibition at the Suzhou Museum, “Narcissus looks for Echo”. An authentic Korean tea ceremony and the “Alive Museum” are also on the itinerary. Guests will be able to experience Western art history through a virtual display of classical art masterpieces digitally reconstructed, as they sample traditional Korean tea.
