About Maartje Blans Solo ExhibitionDutch mixed media visual artist Maartje Blans’ unusual paintings, some with a highly sculptural nature are for the first time presented at Imagine Gallery as a whole rich and varied body of her work. The different layers in Blans’ work produce a dynamic interaction of materials, lines, light and shadows, transparency and space that challenge the boundaries of mixed media painting and installation art.
